Abstract

El parque automotor, es uno de los principales causantes en los últimos tiempos del deterioro ambiental global y uno de los autores del efecto invernadero que existe en la actualidad en nuestro planeta, debido a que los motores de los autos tanto gasolina como diésel emiten gases contaminantes como lo es el monóxido de carbono, está contaminación también ha provocado efectos negativos en la salud de la población causándoles enfermedades como: reacción alérgica, agotamiento físico, irritabilidad, insomnio, enfermedades respiratorias, digestivas entre otras. En este sentido el objetivo del presente estudio es analizar el impacto ambiental que ha provocado el parque automotor del cantón Quevedo, por lo tanto, los gobiernos autónomos utilizan diversas estrategias que pretenden disminuir los impactos que se generan en el medio, la metodología empleada es de análisis descriptivo, crítico y comparativo que permitió llegar a conclusiones con la investigación realizada y la aplicación de la entrevista, concluyendo de que el parque automotor es uno de los principales autores de contaminación del aire de la ciudad y en general del planeta.
