Abstract

Un Seguro no puede ser visto como una inversión de la cual se espera en el futuro recuperar el dinero. En el seguro la ganancia está en la seguridad respecto de la incertidumbre implícita en el futuro. Tampoco un Seguro puede ser visto como un juego de azar, el Seguro protege contra un riesgo existente en el entorno, de modo independiente y que como tal riesgo está afectando incluso a quienes no concertan el seguro y se mantienen siempre expuestos a sufrir las consecuencias de dicho riesgo. Es una figura legislativa que existe desde hace miles de años. Los seguros se basan en el principio de que el cliente paga dinero en el presente para obtener protección económica futura.
