Abstract

La finalidad de este trabajo es la divulgación de los principios sancionatorios del Derecho Penal Ambiental, principios que, en definitiva, van a asegurar la eficacia de las normas jurídicas de protección del ambiente, sabiendo que la mejor de las prevenciones nunca resultará eficaz en su totalidad. En nuestro país (Cuba), pese a haber sido oportunamente propuesto por el CITMA al Ministerio de Justicia, aún no se logra la inclusión en el Código Penal vigente de un Capitulo o Sección sobre los delitos ambientales, lo cual dificulta la aplicación de este régimen jurídico.
