Abstract

El artículo tiene como objetivo abordar los aspectos teórico-conceptuales de la Gestión Documental como herramienta imprescindible para la toma de decisiones en el contexto universitario. Se basa principalmente en el análisis documental clásico haciendo énfasis en la legislación vigente en Cuba en materia de archivo, resoluciones, normas y procedimientos para la aplicación en los Centros de Educación Superior (CES). Parte además del estudio específico de trabajos de investigación que se han realizado en universidades como la Universidad Central de las Villas y Universidad de La Habana.
