O Surgimento Da Faculdade De Enfermagem Da Universidade Federal De Pelotas

Abstract

La Faculdade de Enfermagem (FEn) de la Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPEl), ubicada en el interior de Rio Grande do Sul, fue fundada en 1972, de conformidad con la política de expansión de esa profesión, adoptada por el Ministerio de la Salud. De esa forma, a través de la creación de cursos de Enfermería en el interior de las Universidades Federales contribuiría con la universalización del acceso a la formación profesional en el área. El artículo abordará el desarrollo de la Enfermería desde su profesionalización, hasta el surgimiento de cursos de nivel superior y la relevancia de su implementación de forma descentralizada, de modo que sea posible comprender el contexto en que ha surgido la FEn, en la UFPEl. Además, se buscará entender el ritual de “pasaje de la Lámpara†, que caracteriza el proceso de formación de los enfermeros y la conexión que representa para el desarrollo de la profesión, abriendo camino, aun, para reflexionar acerca de la construcción de la identidad para ese grupo.
