Propuesta De Fundamentaciã“N De La Orientaciã“N En Estudios De Desarrollo Turã Stico Dentro Del Nuevo Plan De Estudios De La Licenciatura En Turismo Del Cucea

Abstract

Los autores de este documento comparten sus experiencias en su participación en la Reforma del Nuevo Plan de Estudios de la Licenciatura en Turismo del Centro Universitario de Ciencias Económico Administrativas (CUCEA) de la Universidad de Guadalajara, México en el año 2012. El mismo hace referencias de la pertinencia de dichos cambios desde la perspectiva de los académicos hasta la visión del organismo evaluador (CONAET) del mismo Plan de Estudios. En la propuesta y aprobación del nuevo Plan de Estudios de dicho programa se analiza la necesidad de ofertar la unidad de aprendizaje Desarrollo y Turismo Cultural como una asignatura del Bloque Orientaciones Especializantes Selectivas, que tiene como objetivo de complementar la formación profesional del estudiante mediante orientaciones. El mismo documento analiza la importancia del sector turístico en general y como la Política Turística Nacional hace incapie la diversificar la oferta turística nacional en la que se encuentra el Turismo Cultural como una de las tipologías del mismo sector. También se analiza la posición de organismos nacionales que recomiendan la innovación en los Planes y Programas de Estudio para estar a la par de las nuevas tendencias de la Educación Superior en México.
