Abstract

La contabilidad es una técnica que se encarga de registrar, clasificar y resumir las operaciones mercantiles, la información obtenida de estos procesos permite conocer la estabilidad y solvencia de la empresa. Un aspecto importante en la fabricación de un producto o servicio son los costos, es por ello que la contabilidad de costos juega un papel importante dentro de la empresa debido a que evalúa el trabajo administrativo y gerencial, donde se comparan los ingresos con los costos que se han proyectado, mediante la utilización de algunos modelos de costos como costo total, costo directo y la contabilidad basada en las actividades, la información de los costos se pueden clasificar en diferentes categorías donde resaltan principalmente los costos fijos y variables, los cuales tienen una gran influencia sobre el producto o servicio a ofrecer.
