Diagnã“Stico De Los Emprendimientos: Caso Cantã“N Riobamba-Ecuador

Abstract

El diagnóstico sobre los emprendimientos empresariales en el cantón Riobamba-Ecuador se inicia con la aplicación de encuestas a 395 emprendedores de un total de 20.116 patentados en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado (GAD: 2014), a través de los cuales se determina que las actividades principales están relacionadas con pequeños negocios que ocupan entre uno y tres empleados, dirigidos por sus propios dueños con un nivel de instrucción secundaria. De otra parte, se identifican a 50 emprendedores de éxito por considerar emprendimientos dinámicos (Fischer y Renber: 2003; Autio: 2007), calificadas como tales porque han superado la contratación de 20 empleados y han crecido en un promedio del 20% de ventas anual, en los último cinco años, ellos determinan las características que deberían tener sus empresas relacionadas con las siete Categorías de Malcolm Baldrige. Se identifican 22 problemas, de los cuales culminan los informantes identificando cuatro debilidades, cuatro amenazas, tres fortalezas y cuatro oportunidades.
