A Teoria Retã“Rica Do Discurso Na Prã Xis: Desconstruindo Um Discurso Polã Tico Contemporã‚Neo

Abstract

O presente artigo aborda a teoria retórica do discurso-TRD, e sua aplicação na análise discursiva de uma entrevista jornalística (reportagem) realizada pelo jornalista Yassini Hizazi ao prefeito da cidade de Foz do Iguaçu, Reni Pereira, em 26 de novembro de 2014. A TRD é uma teoria interdisciplinar que apresenta um conjunto teórico-metodológico cujo objetivo é descrever e analisar a configuração retórica de um discurso persuasivo. Como todo político emprega principalmente este tipo de discurso, buscou-se, na figura do supracitado prefeito, algum que tivesse uma marca de persuasão, pois o discurso político, por mais informal que seja, ainda que se aproxime a uma entrevista – onde há extrapolação de uma retórica que o transforma em um espetáculo de constrangimentos - terá um objetivo de persuasão. No caso observado, encontrado no Youtube, a persuasão vem em forma de ameaças proferidas pelo prefeito para com o jornalista. O estudo possibilitou a compreensão de como empregar a TRD apresentando os resultados.
