La Mediaciã“N Tecnolã“Gica En Los Procesos Histã“Ricos: Conflicto Estados Unidos / Cuba

Abstract

Las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC) se incorporan como una nueva variable al conflicto histórico entre los EE.UU. y Cuba, no como caso aislado sino como una estrategia de hegemonía mundial por parte de las potencias imperialistas, sobre todo los EE.UU. La realidad del conflicto se distorsiona por los medios de comunicación globales que no reconocen el proyecto socialista cubano, donde la incorporación de las TIC para el desarrollo es limitado por la coacción de los EE.UU sobre la Isla, a lo que se adiciona que no se asumen con profundidad las potencialidades que tienen para la aceleración económica y continuidad del proyecto país estructurado desde el año 1959. Esta investigación propone analizar a Cuba como uno de los polos del conflicto, develando elementos que tipifican la introducción de la Isla en el entorno digital como un factor de catalización del proyecto socialista.
