Servicio Hospedero Surfista En La Parroquia Engabao Del Cantã“N General Villamil Playas 2014

Abstract

Puerto Engabao está ubicado en la Comuna Engabao del cantón Playas a 110 km de Guayaquil, forma parte de la “ruta del pescador†; es uno de los principales destinos de surf tanto para nacionales como extranjeros, la gastronomía es limitada y solo se presentan en la temporada de playa, cuenta con 16 hospederías comunitarias de construcción mixta y de cemento, las hospederías ofrecen lo básico para pasar una o dos noches, no son lujosas pero prestan las comodidades mínimas para el descanso. Las hospederías, son el resultado del apoyo económico de la empresa privada y el estado ecuatoriano, hecho que ocurrió en dos fases operativas, primero la implementación de hospederías y la segunda en la dotación del servicio de agua potable, junto a la provisión del menaje, mobiliario y capacitación. Se aplicaron matrices de evaluación y a partir de esto se identificó que las hospederías carecen de anuncio o presentación de las mismas al ingresar a la comunidad, por lo que se desarrolló un plan para la construcción de un mural de madera donde conste el servicio hospedero que se ofrece.
