Abstract

El surgimiento de la vida comunitaria a pesar de tantas dificultades: caso Barrio la Nueva Jerusalén, Medellín- Colombia. Esta reseña plantea un recorrido por la conceptualización de calidad de vida, modo de vida, estudios sobre modo y calidad de vida en Colombia, análisis de la Calidad de Vida en Colombia, análisis de la Calidad de Vida en Medellín y el caso del Barrio la Nueva Jerusalén ubicado cerca al barrio Paris entre los municipios de Bello y Medellín. Se plantea un análisis de como un país como Colombia y una ciudad como Medellín realizan los acercamientos a la operacionalización de las variables que miden la calidad de vida, finalizando este documento con el análisis de algunos elementos de la calidad de vida de un barrio de invasión y de cómo sus pobladores viven en el día a día de su cotidianidad un concepto tan abstracto.
