Abstract

La integración social de los jóvenes es un factor determinante en el desarrollo de toda sociedad. La presente investigación se encaminó en este sentido en el contexto del municipio Moa, que es el de población más joven en Cuba y cuya actividad económica fundamental es la minería y extracción de níquel. Se atiende fundamentalmente al hecho de que con frecuencia existen ofertas de puestos de trabajo vinculados a este u otros sectores en la Dirección Municipal de Trabajo que no pueden ser cubiertos por no existir personal calificado en esas especialidades. Partiendo entonces de esta situación, se desarrolló sobre la base de un diagnóstico sociodemográfico previo, un proyecto de capacitación para jóvenes desvinculados con la finalidad de facilitar su acceso al empleo. Fueron utilizados el método de aproximación rápida y los métodos teóricos análisis y síntesis, histórico- lógico y la inducción- deducción. Los resultados parciales de la ejecución del proyecto han sido satisfactorios.
