Abstract

En los últimos años se vienen transformando los criterios evaluativos de calidad sobre la gestión ambiental en los destinos turísticos como consecuencia de un cambio antrópico1 influyendo, el cambio climático, la política ambiental, la globalización, los instrumentos económicos, el papel de las organizaciones, la capacidad de carga y otros tantos aspectos estudiados desde diferentes perspectivas disciplinarias PRATS P.F. (2008) (LU & NEPAL, 2009) La principal limitante que se presenta para abordar esta problemática reside en la falta de estadísticas ambientales sistemáticas, tanto a nivel nacional como regional y local. QUIROGA MARTINEZ (2009) (Sanchez, 2011) (OMT, 2000)2 . Considerando este contexto se realizará un proyecto de investigación denominado: “Evaluación comparativa de la calidad en la gestión ambiental de destinos turísticos†en el que se desarrollará una metodología que analice criterios ambientales mínimos que simplifiquen y visibilicen la información con múltiples propósitos. Los objetivos planteados son los siguientes: Evaluar comparativamente la calidad en la gestión ambiental de destinos turísticos a partir de proponer una matriz comparativa Analizar la relación existente entre la inversión en capital humano existente en el municipio turístico estudiado y los mecanismos tendientes a mejorar la calidad de la gestión ambiental en el destino en cuestión. Analizar la situación actual relacionada con el turismo y la discapacidad y desarrollar una metodología para evaluar el grado de accesibilidad según tipo de disfunción: intelectual-motriz-sensorial en las áreas protegidasâ€
