Abstract

La tecnología de la información y la comunicación en una empresa se utiliza para aprovechar las oportunidades de mercado. El software libre (Open Source), como programa informático brinda una gran libertad a los usuarios de una institución, por tanto le sirve al desarrollo y crecimiento económico abaratando los costos con este sistema gratuito. Las empresas hoy en día poseen tecnología digital que les ha permitido a la humanidad a progresar y ha cambiado la gestión de las mismas y la forma de hacer negocios; es decir, la manera de comunicarse con los clientes, solicitud de pedidos y la promoción de productos. Por lo expuesto, es importante el software libre ya que respeta la libertad de los usuarios y la comunidad; además, que existen programas de gestión y administración de Pymes para los emprendedores y empresarios de acuerdo a los clientes, proveedores, gastos, ventas, manejo de efectivo, caja diaria, stock, entre otros; herramientas que le ayudan para la práctica de la empresa y administrar un negocio.
