Abstract

Se abordan los principales aspectos teóricos - conceptuales que enfocan a la gestión de información y el conocimiento en las organizaciones de información, a partir de los objetivos y alcance del enfoque. Se describe el enfoque práctico de la gestión de información y el conocimiento (GIC) en el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Villa Clara, desde la caracterización de la institución en cuanto a misión, visión, objeto social, estructura organizacional, matriz DAFO.Se Identifica el comportamiento en la institución de cada uno de los elementos que comprenden la Gestión de Información en cuanto a su contexto, diagramas de flujos de información, recursos. Se identifica el perfil organizacional a partir de parámetros de adquisición, desarrollo, distribución, uso, conservación y medición de conocimiento, lo que posibilita determinar futuras prioridades que garanticen un mejor desarrollo del enfoque y el logro exitoso de los objetivos en la organización.
