Anã Lisis De Gã‰Nero De Las Competencias Directivas. Un Estudio De Caso

Abstract

Tomando como base la información obtenida del diagnóstico de las competencias directivas de los cuadros realizado en el nivel central de dos empresas hoteleras se realizó este estudio con el objetivo de valorar las dimensiones sociopsico competencias directivas lógicas que caracterizan a las mujeres que se desempeñan en cargos directivos a este nivel. Se emplearon las técnicas de análisis documental y estudio de casos, se procesó la información mediante estadística descriptiva y se realizó la interpretación y valoración de la misma. Se concluye que el 39.3 % de los cuadros de ambas empresas son mujeres, las que en su mayoría están en la quinta década de la vida, son blancas, de nivel superior, casadas, con formación profesional económica y dirigen en esa área. Las competencias de eficacia personal alcanzan un alto grado de desarrollo en la mayoría de las dirigentes y las competencias orientadas a resultados y a las relaciones se encuentran entre los niveles alto-medio de desarrollo. Se brindan recomendaciones en consecuencia.
