Equinoterapia ¿Ayuda A La Rehabilitaciã“N De Los Niã‘Os Con Discapacidad?

Abstract

En la actualidad existe una serie de terapias que se brindan por parte de entidades públicas y privadas, para con ellas poder disminuir en un determinado porcentaje las discapacidades físicas e intelectuales con las que nacen los niños y que los mismos puedan gozar de inclusión social, que tanta falta hace en nuestro país con respecto a las personas que sufren cualquier tipo de discapacidad. Según el Ministerio de Salud Pùblica en el Registro Nacional de Discapacidades, hasta Septiembre del 2014, en la ciudad de Guayaquil, existen 61090 personas con diferentes tipos de discapacidades tales como: discapacidad intelectual, mental, visual, auditiva, física, de lenguaje y psicológica. Lamentablemente existe desconocimiento de las soluciones que van a ayudar a cada tipo de discapacidad por parte de los familiares, como es el caso de la equinoterapia, muchas veces este desconocimiento de una solución a la enfermedad es debido a la falta de recursos y despreocupación por parte de los familiares de la persona discapacitada o a la poca información concerniente a este problema que existe en la sociedad.
