Tratamiento de los desechos sólidos en el ordenamiento jurídico cubano

Abstract

El cuidado y conservación del Medio Ambiente por su importancia es un tema de gran interés y preocupación para todos, constituye un deber para los ciudadanos y el Estado contribuir en ello, no por gusto tal protección ha sido recogida en diversos cuerpos legales, y más aún en la actualidad, cuando la problemática ambiental ha alcanzado niveles insostenibles. Se impone la necesidad de abordar el tratamiento jurídico que se le brindan a los desechos sólidos en Cuba, especialmente en la ciudad de Holguín, ya que son estos los que contribuyen conjuntamente con los desechos líquidos, la contaminación atmosférica y acústica en la degradación progresiva y paulatina del entorno.
