Raíces cuadráticas - métodos alternativos: Una manera más sencilla de hallar raíces cuadráticas

Abstract

La metodología tradicional para la enseñanza de resolución de ecuaciones cuadráticas, es decir en su factorización, incluyen la memorización de ecuaciones y de algoritmos que, aunque han facilitado hasta hoy encontrar los resultados de manera eficiente, limitan notablemente la creatividad que nos brindan las matemáticas. En este breve artículo, usted encontrará tres propuestas de algoritmos y formas alternativas de la ecuación general, que pueden ser implementadas en la enseñanza del día a día, facilitando aún más la resolución de dichas parábolas. El primer método es una variante de la ya popular forma usada por el Dr. Po-Shen Loh, mientras que la segunda y tercera son aproximaciones de la famosa fórmula general, simplificándola significativamente, para hacer más sencilla su aplicación.
