Conflicto Iglesia Católica-Revolución en el Término Municipal Holguín entre 1959 y 1976

Abstract

El sistema penitenciario brasileño se ve afectado por problemas estructurales como la sobrepoblación, la violencia y las condiciones precarias de vida de los reclusos. En este contexto, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cómo se viola el principio de dignidad de la persona humana en el sistema penitenciario brasileño. Para ello, se presentarán datos sobre la población carcelaria en el país, así como aspectos legales relacionados con la ejecución penal. También se discutirán casos emblemáticos de violación de los derechos humanos en el sistema penitenciario. Por último, se señalarán algunas alternativas para superar los problemas enfrentados por el sistema penitenciario brasileño, con el fin de garantizar el respeto al principio de dignidad de la persona humana.
