Abstract

La educación a distancia o semipresencial fue la vía adoptada para el seguimiento del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en el mundo entero, ante la propagación del nuevo coronavirus SARS-COV-2. Cuba no estuvo exenta de la proliferación de COVID-19 en la población y, por tanto, adoptó medidas restrictivas para el aislamiento social. Todos los centros de enseñanza, incluyendo las universidades, cerraron sus puertas, pero mantuvieron su función educativa. El artículo presenta las experiencias del Departamento de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Holguín en su etapa de educación a distancia o semipresencial por la pandemia. A partir de la aplicación de métodos científicos se sintetizan los resultados y su repercusión al regreso a las aulas y en la práctica profesional.
