Abstract

El proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje posee carácter comunicativo, dado este por la interacción entre el docente y los estudiantes (actores de dicho proceso) y de estos entre sí; lo que favorece su autorregulación, la educación de sentimientos, cualidades y valores. (Arias Leyva, 2005) Elevar la calidad de la educación significa entregar un servicio cada vez más pertinente, efectivo y eficiente a la sociedad. En este sentido, el presente artículo, tiene como finalidad caracterizar el proceso de la comunicación en el nivel universitario, exponer las principales insuficiencias detectadas en el diagnóstico aplicado a estudiantes y profesores y socializar el folleto “Diagnóstico y caracterización de la comunicación en la Universidad†el que con su aplicación permitirá la elaboración de un conjunto de materiales de estudio y programas dirigidos a la superación del personal docente, así como diseñar acciones tendientes a mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, a través de una adecuada comunicación y de ,un uso correcto de la lengua materna.
