Abstract

El presente artículo presenta algunas reflexiones derivadas de una tesis doctoral en progreso sobre la orientación de la lectura extensiva desde una concepción interdisciplinar para la formación profesional pedagógica del estudiante de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación. Español Literatura. Abordar este modo de lectura desde una concepción interdisciplinar adquiere una significación especial, pues la lectura extensiva se convierte en un procedimiento y constituye una actividad instrumental que permite la adquisición de conocimientos, pues tras ella existe una finalidad, un propósito: el deseo de conocer y profundizar en los contenidos disciplinares. Esta intervención educativa se debe a que los estudiantes de la carrera demuestran poseer escaso dominio de las habilidades para leer extensivamente, comprender y construir significados, por tal razón tiene el objetivo de contribuir a la formación profesional pedagógica de los estudiantes para que accedan a la información y a los contenidos que le permitan incrementar los saberes lingüístico-literarios para su desempeño académico y profesional.
