Abstract

En este breve artículo se recogerán algunas de las principales aportaciones de Karl Popper en el ámbito metodológico de la investigación científica, poniendo principal énfasis en las repercusiones que tuvo la deducción empírica dentro de las ciencias sociales, reconociendo su posicionamiento y crítica al empirismo positivista, al psicologismo y al historicismo “totalitario†, este último centrado en el marxismo que se convirtió en su antítesis ideológica-política y tema principal de análisis en sus últimos escritos sociológicos.
