Abstract

El diagnóstico ambiental es la herramienta básica para analizar el estado actual de la comunidad y constituye el punto de partida para el diseño e instrumentación de acciones dirigidas al mejoramiento del medio ambiente comunitario. De acuerdo con ello, en el presente trabajo se persigue como objetivo realizar el diagnóstico ambiental con una orientación hacia la educación ambiental en la comunidad Reparto “Ampliación Lázaro Acosta†. Para su desarrollo se emplearon instrumentos como: guía de documentos, guía de observación, encuesta y entrevista, donde participaron líderes comunitarios y vecinos de la comunidad estudiada, los cuales revelaron poca percepción del ambiente local, de sus principales problemas y causas. Se pretende que el diagnóstico elaborado sirva de base para el diseño de un Sistema de Acciones de Educación Ambiental dirigido a revertir la situación diagnosticada.
