Abstract

La televisión es un vehículo fundamental de acceso la información y a su vez contiene parte del conocimiento que se transmite a la sociedad, incide más que nunca en la educación de las nuevas generaciones, moldea gustos y tendencias en públicos de todas las edades en Cuba. En este artículo se abordan las características de la televisión enfocada desde la promoción cultural como objetivo estratégico y que permite promover la participación de los ciudadanos, junto con los gobiernos y demás instituciones, en la promoción y difusión de la cultura cubana.
