Abstract

El desarrollo local es una prioridad para el gobierno cubano. Por tal razón se acrecienta la producción científica en aras de buscar nuevas vías para fortalecer la gestión de los gobiernos a ese nivel. La presente publicación responde a esa finalidad. La misma tiene como objetivo diseñar una metodología para contribuir al diagnóstico de las potencialidades culturales para el desarrollo del Consejo Popular “La Demajagua†. Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo se analizaron los documentos y orientaciones que rigen el accionar del grupo de trabajo comunitario. Se realizó un diagnóstico en el consejo popular ello develó la inexistencia de una metodología para el diagnóstico de las potencialidades culturales de la localidad. En el informe se argumenta la metodología diseñada con las indicaciones precisas para su aplicación. Esta constituye un aporte práctico de gran importancia para el trabajo comunitario; el cual ha sido avalado por sus beneficiarias/os.
