En Torno Al Neoliberalismo Y La Actual Pandemia: Realidad En Amã‰Rica Latina

Abstract

El hombre enfrenta hoy grandes desafíos, agravados estos por la actual pandemia que lo azota. A 202 años del nacimiento de Carlos Marx, sus ideas permanecen como baluarte y compromiso con los oprimidos pues mostró la capacidad del hombre para revertir su opresión. Su concepción científica y humana aún está por ponerse en práctica en pueblos de América Latina donde el binomio neoliberalismo-COVID-19 muestra que la desprotección al sistema de salud pública generada por la aplicación de recetas neoliberales ha convertido a América Latina en epicentro de numerosos contagios y muertes. El presente artículo, desde una mirada profundamente humana, pretende reflexionar sobre el impacto del neoliberalismo en tiempos de pandemia y las alternativas de los pueblos tercermundistas para salir de la actual crisis.
