Abstract

Esta investigación realiza un abordaje metodológico de los principales aportes teóricos acerca del concepto de economía creativa o economía naranja, sus principales características y megatendencias de este tipo de economía en la actualidad. Se realiza un análisis profundo de las características propias del sector no estatal de la economía cubana y los llamados “emprendedores†dentro del mismo, se analizan sus debilidades y principales limitaciones económicas, sociales y regulatorias. Se analiza la situación del cuentapropismo cubano en la actual situación de crisis provocada por COVID-19 y la necesidad de este sector de la economía de ser más creativos, dinámicos e innovadores para ser más resilientes en la actual situación. Se analizan ejemplos concretos de como negocios privados de la capital cubana se han creado iniciativas con un valor adicional a su actividad fundamental que los han hecho más sustentables en estos tiempos. He aquí el aporte fundamental de esta investigación y está en el hecho de la internalización por parte de estos emprendedores cubanos de que podrían ser más resilientes en la crisis actual provocada por la COVID-19 si se asocian a la economía creativa.
