Abstract

La presencia de numerosos procesos de evaluación y acreditación de carreras realizados por de la Junta de Acreditación Nacional de nuestro país, indican la necesidad de encontrar vías para evaluar la calidad de la Educación Superior cubana, a partir de variables, indicadores, instrumentos y procedimientos que permitieran valorar, de manera objetiva, los resultados como consecuencia de la aplicación de los sistemas de acreditación. El presente trabajo pretende socializar los resultados del proceso de evaluación y acreditación de la carrera Ingeniaría en Geología de la Universidad de Moa. Para ello se utilizan las herramientas metodológicas que ofrece el estudio de documentos, el cual se triangula con encuestas, entrevista a expertos y empleadores, útiles en declarar las buenas prácticas relacionadas con el proceso de evaluación externa en el cual participaron las autoras.
