El Milanesado En Tiempos De Felipe Ii: Entre Conflictos Bã‰Licos Y Crecimiento Econã“Mico

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone indagar sobre los diferentes acontecimientos acaecidos en el Ducado de Milán, bajo el reinado de Felipe II. Para ello, se analizarán las cuestiones relacionadas con el aspecto social, describiendo el espacio físico de dicho Ducado. Asimismo, se observarán los aspectos principales de corte político y económico en donde convergen distintos intereses geopolíticos respecto a Milán, en torno a un contexto caracterizado por tensiones políticas, conflictos bélicos y un pujante crecimiento económico. Por ello cabe preguntarse ¿Era el Ducado una región deficitaria para la Corona? ¿Cuál era la principal característica de su crecimiento económico? ¿Cómo incidía su posición geográfica respecto a las rutas utilizadas por el Ejército Imperial?
