Agrotóxicos de uso agrícola no estado de Goiás, Brasil: análise dos níveis de intoxicação e vulnerabilidade

Abstract

O presente estudo teve como objetivo principal identificar e analisar casos de intoxicação por agrotóxicos de uso agrícola ocorridos no estado de Goiás, no Brasil, contemplados no período compreendido entre 2006 e 2013. Utilizou-se o portal eletrônico do Sistema Nacional de Informações Tóxico-Farmacológicas, e os descritores “ano†, “agrotóxicos†, “agrotóxicos uso agrícola†e “casos†para busca e coleta de dados. Os dados coletados foram quantificados mediante o somatório de cada especificação inerente à sua variável: circunstâncias; faixa etária; sexo; zona de ocorrência e evolução, separadamente por ano. Obtiveram-se as porcentagens dos casos que mais evidentemente incidiram no período, e em determinado ano. Verificou-se que o maior número de casos se deu por parte de indivíduos do sexo masculino, com idades entre 20 a 49 anos, em zona de ocorrência urbana, e evolução majoritariamente representada por cura.
