Abstract

En el presente estudio se desarrolló el tema de la “Contratación de reaseguros en el exterior según lo establecido en el Código Orgánico Monetario Financiero y el impacto en el desarrollo del mercado asegurador en Ecuador. Determinándose dentro del mismo, el objetivo general: “Analizar el impacto que tiene la reforma realizada a través del Código Monetario Financiero, que restringe la contratación con empresas reaseguradoras extranjeras en el desarrollo productivo de las empresas aseguradoras y reaseguradoras ecuatorianas, antes y después de su publicación†. Siendo alcanzados los objetivos propuestos en este estudio, por medio de la aplicación de diversos métodos de investigación: Método deductivo e inductivo. Además el tipo de investigación que fue aplicada fue: analítica, exploratoria y de campo. Los enfoques de investigación aplicados: cualitativo y cuantitativo. Por lo que se analiza que dicha reforma ha tenido un impacto negativo al limitar el desarrollo económico del ramo asegurador y sus contrataciones.
