Manejo agronómico e impacto social y económico en la producción de café en la Sierra Sur de Oaxaca-México

Abstract

La cafeticultura en México representa una de las actividades económicas más importantes, principalmente en los estados de Chiapas, Veracruz, Puebla y Oaxaca. Para este artículo se realizó un análisis, donde se destaca principalmente la disminución que ha tenido la producción de café en Oaxaca, así como el impacto económico en los últimos 15 años, esto debido a factores que han incidido en la producción, que de acuerdo al orden de importancia se consideran, plagas y enfermedades, cambio climático, edad de las plantaciones, falta de mano de obra, asesoría técnica y cambio en las variedades nativas.
