Abstract

El propósito de este documento es analizar la evolución de la balanza comercial ecuatoriana del año 2008 al 2013, y conocer los motivos que impulsaron al Gobierno Ecuatoriano a fortalecer un cambio en la matriz productiva con la sustitución de importaciones como principal estrategia para potenciar el desarrollo y competitividad del país a nivel nacional e internacional atrayendo inversión extranjera como fuente de recuperación por la economía emergente.
