El ABC de los créditos en Ecuador

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar las causas por las cuales los ecuatorianos incurren en mora crediticia con la finalidad de incursionar en el mercado de los créditos ofreciendo servicios de recuperación de cartera. En 2016 el sistema financiero ecuatoriano se mantuvo solvente, pero acumuló excesivos niveles de liquidez. Sólo en el segundo semestre se recuperó levemente la colocación de crédito. A diciembre del año pasado, se observó un crecimiento interanual del 18% de las captaciones, pero de apenas un 7% del crédito al sector privado; si bien ambos indicadores son mejores a los registrados en el 2015, el ritmo al que se incrementa la colocación crediticia es aún insuficiente para las demandas de financiamiento del aparato productivo ecuatoriano y las familias.
