Zoofilia o bestialismo, una figura ausente del Código Orgánico Integral Penal

Abstract

La zoofilia o bestialismo es una forma de torturar a un animal debido a la agresión que se le practica, el cual consiste en las relaciones sexuales hombre-animal, que más bien se considera un tipo de violación dada la ausencia del consentimiento del animal y por el desvío de la naturaleza de apareamiento que cada especie tiene. Asimismo, es importante manifestar que, estudios criminológicos y psicológicos han demostrado que rara vez el maltrato animal no se extiende, determinando que la zoofilia o bestialidad y cualquier acto de maltrato y crueldad animal, resulta ser un inminente indicador de violencia que generalmente va en aumento y su violencia puede explayarse hacia los seres humanos.
