Evolución de la Extensión Universitaria y su componente investigativo para el desarrollo turístico local

Abstract

Para la elaboración del presente artículo se ha tenido en cuenta las experiencias del autor desde la labor de docente así como de profesional del área turística, elementos que contribuyeron a la realización de una profunda reflexión acerca de cómo se debe llevar a cabo la actividad de extensión universitaria, los obstáculos y dificultades que presenta en su desarrollo, y el importante rol que cumple la investigación científica como base de los procesos de extensión, que, por su propia naturaleza colabora con la sociedad, más aun desde el desarrollo de proyectos de gestión local por medio de las actividades turísticas.
