Políticas Gubernamentales Y Reconversión Productiva: El Caso De La Palma De Aceite En México

Abstract

Se realiza un análisis de la producción de palma de aceite en México, contextualizando su desempeño en el ámbito mundial. Se describen brevemente las zonas productoras del país, destacando sus indicadores de desempeño, tales como superficie plantada, superficie cosechada, volumen y valor de la producción, entre otros. Se indica que existe una política gubernamental de fomento a la producción y de desarrollo de capacidades e innovación tecnológica a través de acciones de extensionismo, bajo la figura de Agencias de Gestión de Innovación para el Desarrollo de Proveedores. Las condiciones y coyunturas mundiales parecen augurarle algunos éxitos productivos a los productores de la especie.
