La Inversión Extranjera Directa Como Una Salida Al Problema De La Brecha De Bienes De Capital Y Conocimientos En México

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, en una primera parte hacemos una breve descripción de las distintas visiones que intentan abordar el tema de las razones que hacen que los países enfrenten diferencias en los niveles de ingresos y tasas de crecimiento, lo cual permite hacer una clasificación de países pobres y países ricos. En la segunda parte, realizamos una serie de regresiones, siguiendo el modelo de Romer (1993), para el caso de las 32 entidades federativas de nuestro país, para el periodo 1990-2000, buscando constatar si México enfrenta una brecha de bienes físicos o una brecha tecnológica, en el sentido amplio, es decir que incluye conocimientos e ideas
