Abstract

This investigation applies the interaction gravitational model in Santiago de Cali City (COL) with base in two mass measures, just as, the market potential –measured for inter-zonal population and population densities – and the concentration of retail trade - measured for the number of establishments of that type and your density for area unity. Also, it employ like dispersion elements such the physical distances as in trip time. The result permit distinguish hierarchies spatial-economics of the city and the influence of transportation technologies and economics forces in the maintenance of the mono-central spatial structure of itself.
