Abstract

Tanto en el informe de la AIE como en algunos argumentos esgrimidos durante la Cumbre de Bali, las dos grandes economías emergentes asiáticas (China e India) han sido prácticamente acusadas de ser co-responsables de los graves problemas energéticos y medioambientales del planeta. Esas acusaciones carecen de fundamento. Este análisis destaca, en primer lugar, que algunos de los resultados más llamativos del informe de la AIE no lo son tanto y, en segundo término, que las sensatas posiciones de los grandes países en desarrollo no han sido escuchadas en Bali, lo que ha contribuido mucho a que los resultados de la Cumbre hayan sido decepcionantes.
