Abstract

El Desarrollo económico de China y su potencial de futuro es el acontecimiento que más ha cambiado al mundo en los últimos años. La importancia de la economía de China se hace cada vez más evidente. En los últimos 25 años, China ha logrado resultados económicos que a Occidente le tomaron un siglo. Con una visión única del futuro y un enorme contraste entre tradición y modernidad se ha vuelto una de las experiencias de desarrollo económico más exitosas del mundo. Desde que Deng Xiaoping lanzó su política de “puertas abiertas” en 1978 nunca se había visto un crecimiento tan sostenido. China ha experimentado la etapa de creación de riqueza más rápida de la historia. Sin embargo todo ese cúmulo de destellos positivos, no pueden ocultar otros datos preocupantes que generó un acentuado cambio de atmósfera. Las cifras que ilustran los logros económicos notables de China, esconden enormes problemas pendientes, que si no se atienden pueden poner en riesgo esos mismos éxitos.
