La Industria Del Calzado En León, Guanajuato, México. Análisis, A Partir De Las Economías Externas Y De Urbanización

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta un análisis teórico de los factores que generan localización y economías de urbanización. El documento señala que la organización espacial de la producción es un fenómeno asociado con las estrategias de localización de las empresas. Argumenta que son varios los factores que hacen a una empresa elegir una localización concreta, entre las que se encuentran: la experiencia histórica, la buena mano de obra y sus bajos costos, aunado a la existencia de insumos cercanos y su vinculación con los elementos teóricos señalados. Este trabajo, además, analiza las fuerzas de atracción que llevaron a la región mexicana de León Guanajuato a convertirse en una localización de la industria del calzado.
