Biogas En Bolivia Programa “Viviendas Autoenergéticas” Una Nueva Forma De Ver El Futuro Energético-Ambiental Del País, En Área Rural

Abstract

El Altiplano Boliviano y fundamentalmente la zona del Lago Titicaca ha sido y será contaminado por la falta de estrategias de manejo de residuos tanto humanos como animales. En ese sentido y para poder mitigar estos efectos negativos, se esta logrando consolidar un proceso tecnológico que permitirá disminuir el problema ambiental de este tipo de contaminación es sectores aledaños al lago. Es así que desde el 2006 se esta diseminando el programa “Viviendas autoenergéticas”, con una visión integradora de conceptos tecnológicos que permitan reducir las emisiones contaminantes al medio ya sean estas a la atmósfera (CH4) o los acuíferos superficiales o subterráneos (sólidos en suspensión), este conjunto de acciones, pasan por la implementación de tecnologías intermedias, técnicas que permiten reducir drásticamente los residuos humanos y animales, con la implementación de Biodigestores de bajo costo y Letrinas/duchas ecológicas de descarga continua a los sistemas de biodigestión, de manera que se genera por un lado energía de biomasa (energía renovable) al obtener BIOGAS luego de este proceso y por otro lado se obtiene un Biofertilizante llamado BIOL, con un poder fertilizante mayor en 30% que cualquier químico utilizado en la agricultura.
