Puesta En Valor De Recursos Rurales En Los Programas De Innovación Rural En Castilla-La Mancha

Abstract

El patrimonio histórico, cultural, arquitectónico y natural se ha convertido en uno de los elementos diferenciadores del turismo en España. Por este motivo, este segmento viene experimentando, en los últimos años, un importante crecimiento tanto desde el punto de vista de la oferta como de la demanda. Buena parte de este incremento viene motivado por las intervenciones de los programas europeos de desarrollo rural en apoyo a este tipo de iniciativas, que contribuyen a la conservación, restauración y rehabilitación de algunos elementos que, de otro modo, caerían en el olvido o, sencillamente, desaparecerían. La puesta en valor del patrimonio existente, así como la potenciación de la dimensión cultural del mismo, han originado una importante progresión de la oferta de este producto turístico. En el presente estudio se aborda, por consiguiente, la incidencia de los mencionados programas sobre las medidas que tienen, de algún modo, relación con este aspecto, a saber: patrimonio natural, valorización de productos locales agrarios y valorización del patrimonio cultural y arquitectónico; vigentes para el periodo de programación 2002 a 2006 de las iniciativas comunitarias LEADER + y PRODER 2.
