Economías de aglomeración en el contexto de la nueva geografía económica

Abstract

En este artículo se discuten algunas de las razones que demuestran la importancia de las economías de aglomeración como materia de estudio fundamental para la Nueva Geografía Económica (NGE). Con este objetivo se expone brevemente el surgimiento de la denominada NGE y cómo se enmarca el estudio de las aglomeraciones dentro de dicho paradigma.
