Abstract

Considerando las palabras del matemático francés Julio Enrique Poincaré (1854-1912), quien sostenía que: Toda ciencia tiene de ciencia lo que tiene deMatemática, en este artículo, mediante la modelación y resolución de problemas que exigen la aplicación de la integral definida, se ha tratado de significar la importancia que tiene esta herramienta cognitiva poderosísima para los economistas.
