Diseño de una red de distribución de medicamentos

Abstract

La presente investigación fue realizada en una empresa provincial comercializadora y distribuidora de medicamentos, con el objetivo de aplicar un procedimiento para diseñar nuevas rutas de distribución de medicamentos que contribuya a mejorar la efectividad de la gestión empresarial. Para ello se llevó a cabo una revisión de la literatura actualizada sobre el tema y se aplicó un procedimiento para cumplir el objetivo planteado. Como resultado se obtiene una nueva ruta para la distribución de medicamentos mediante la cual se disminuye la distancia de recorrido en un 35.12 %, reduciendo los costos de transportación y el tiempo de respuesta, contribuyendo a una mejora del desempeño organizacional de la empresa objeto de estudio
